Top 5 CT COVID-19 Regulations You Need to Know

Are you up to date on the latest state regulations regarding COVID-19? Here is a quick summary of the latest you need to know to keep you and your family safe.



1) Stay Home


Governor Lamont's order requires all nonessential businesses to prohibit in-person functions. This remains in place until May 20th


2) Gatherings


All social gatherings of more than 5 people have been prohibited. Whether it be sports, parades, concerts, or conventions. Religious gatherings are limited to only 50 people. This is also in effect until May 20th unless otherwise modified.


3) Travelers


Any person coming to Connecticut by any form of transportation for any reason is strongly urged to stay in quarantine for at least 14 days.


4) Public Schools, Gyms, Cinemas, Hair Salons


All public school classes are cancelled. All venues listed above and any of similar capacity are to remain closed until May 20th.


5) Food, Retail Establishments


Restaurants and bars can only provide take-out and delivery services for off-premise consumption. Must make use of touch less payment if available. Stores are permitted to stay open as long as they do not exceed 50% occupancy, have 6 foot floor makings at checkout lines, and follow other guidelines issued in Connecticut's "Safe Store Rules". All of these regulations are also in place until May 20th.
